ईश्वर बसे न मंदिर में न वो रहता कहीं पहाड़ों में
पुण्य करम में बसे ईश्वरी तत्व का मतलब सीख लिया

मैं बाहर सुख को खोजता था झरने पर्वत मैंदानों में
मन के अंदर छुपे हुए संतोष का मतलब सीख लिया

जो मिला नहीं है न ग़म कोई जो पाया है सर्वोत्तम है
जैसी सोच वैसा जीवन मन को समझाना सीख लिया

भागदौड़ सब व्यर्थ है मनुआ मेहनत से ही काम बने
समय से पहले हक़ से ज़्यादा नहीं मिलेगा सीख लिया

मन समंदर की लहरों को काबू करना सीख लिया
दिन के पन्नों पर हमने करना हस्ताक्षर सीख लिया

I have learned to calm the waves,
the restless tides of my own mind.
On the pages of each fleeting day,
I now sign with presence, with intent refined.

God was never locked in temples,
nor hiding in mountains high and steep.
I found Him in the work of goodness,
in deeds where souls sow and reap.

I once chased joy in valleys and rivers,
in peaks, in plains, in fleeting skies.
Now I know—contentment hides within,
a treasure where true silence lies.

What I don’t possess brings no sorrow,
what I have is already best.
Life reflects the way I think,
I’ve trained my mind to find its rest.

This race, this haste—it’s all illusion,
only labor turns the wheel of fate.
No gift arrives before its hour,
nor more than what’s just, on time’s slate.

I have learned to calm the waves,
to guide the ocean within my soul.
On each day’s page, I now inscribe
a steady hand, a mindful goal.
