मैं खोजता रहा उसको
मंदिरों में शिवालयों में
मस्जिदों गुरुद्वारों में
महसूस किया न किया
जब थामा तूने हर बार
जब जब मैं गिरा भटका
जीवन की डगर पर
तू कहीं पास ही था
सही राह दिखाने को
मेरे अंधरे मिटाने को

आज जब लौ जगी
जीवन की दिशा बदली
दर्पण से धुल हटी
अंतर्मन जगमगाया
फिर नज़र आया
कि तू ही ‘ओम’ बनकर
मेरा जन्मदाता बना

मेरा हाथ पकड़कर
छोटे क़दमों को से
चलाया बड़ा किया
उस माँ में तू ही था

सखा बंधू बनकर
प्रेम ‘सुधा’ से सींचकर
‘राम’ का सा स्नेह दिया
वो ‘लक्ष्मण’ तू ही था

वो जो मेरे साथ रहा
दुःख में सुख में
गर्मी सर्दी में
सावन भादों में
सब नेक इरादों में
न कोई शर्त न शिकायत
ये मैंने अब देखा कि तू
बना मेरी जीवन ‘रेखा’

अब मुझे एहसास है
कि तू मेरे पास है
निश्छल निर्मल सहृदय
मेरा सखा मेरा गुरु

तेरी अक्षय कृपा
रही मुझ पर सदा
और रहे सर्वदा
‘अभय’ दान मांगूं
रहे समीपता
अटल रहे विश्वास
कि तू यहीं है यहीं है
मेरे पास मेरे साथ

You Were Always There

I searched for You
In temples, in holy shrines,
In mosques and gurudwaras,
But I could not feel You…

Until—
Each time I fell, wandered astray
On the twisted path of life,
You were there, quietly near—
To guide me forward,
To lift the night from my soul.

Then one day—
A spark within me lit the flame,
The mirror cleared its dust,
And I saw, glowing from within:
You were the Om that gave me birth,
The breath behind my very being.

When I took my first step,
Your hands held mine steady.
Yes, it was You—
In the love of a mother,
The voice that taught, the lap that healed.

You were the friend, the brother,
Who stood beside me
In summer’s fire and winter’s chill,
Through every season, in silent will.

In all my sacred intentions—
No condition, no complaint—
Just presence.
Now I see You were always there—
My eternal Lifeline.

And now—
I know it deeply in my heart:
You are near, always near.
Gentle. Pure. My guide. My friend.
My true teacher.

May Your Akshay grace—
Endless and undiminished—
Be my blessing forever.
And in Your gift of Abhay—
Let me fear nothing
But distance from Your light.

May our bond remain unbroken.
May my faith stay unwavering.
