Hey Joy (Bliss)

Hey Joy — let’s enjoy!
Where’ve you been?
You’ve gone unseen.

Joy (smiling):
“Listen, my friend,
and listen deep —
I don’t hang where
the hollow sleep.

I live where there are
no means — just goals,
no minds — just souls,
no comforts — just striving,
no tricks — just surviving.

I drift through places that breathe:

  • A mother’s warm hug,
  • A flower’s soft bloom,
  • Rainbows that dance
    before the monsoon,
  • The shimmer of sweat
    on a dream well-earned,
  • The kiss of grace
    that can’t be learned.”

“But where were you?” I ask once more.

Joy whispers —

“I don’t dwell where hearts deceive.
Where greed shouts
and lies believe.
Where tempers rise
and faces sleep,
in the race for more,
but the climb is steep.

You want to find me?
Then look, explore —
In kindness, struggle,
and something more.

Where truth stands tall
and ego is small —
there, dear friend,
you’ll know me all.”
