अदरक की महक आय
रामकसम दिन बन जाय
खिले मन चाय मिल जाय

बिस्तर में जो चाय मिले
नींद खुले सुस्ती भग जाय
काम बनें सब ठीक ठाक
प्रेशर सब ख़तम हो जाय

नाश्ता करो चाय के संग
जो भी खाओ पच जाय
चाय पियो चलो काम पर
ऑफिस में औरएक हो जाय

हुआ प्रमोशन पियो चाय
नहीं मिला? तो पियो चाय
ख़ुशी का मौका या ग़मगीन
हर अवसर पर एक चाय

दूध नहीं है तो काली चाय
ग्रीन ब्लू और निम्बू चाय
जो स्वाद भाये हाज़िर चाय
छोड़ो बहाने पी लो चाय

सरदर्द में है हर्बल चाय
है बुखार काली मिर्च चाय
इलायची को मत भूलना
सब रोगों का हल मिल जाय

बिटिया की शादी लो चाय
समोसे के संग सखी चाय
मेहमानों का दिल जीतो
दिल का रिश्ता जुड़ जाय

खाने से पहले एक चाय
एक खाने के बाद चाय
सोने से पहले एक चाय
निद्रा आँखों में बस जाय

चाय पिए जो दीर्घ जिए
क्यों रहते तुम बिना पिए
आओ कभी हवेली पर
पियो हमारे साथ चाय

A cup of masala chai,
With ginger’s scent drifting by —
By Lord Ram, the day feels right,
Hearts bloom with that first sweet sip of chai.

Sleep runs off, dreams are shed;

Pressure fades — all feels divine.

Helps every meal to understand;

Got promoted? Drink some chai.
Didn’t get it? Still don’t cry.
Joy or sorrow, thick or thin,
There’s always tea — begin again!

No milk today? Then black tea’s here,
Green, blue, lemon — all appear.
Whatever flavor suits your sky,
Forget excuses — just drink chai!

For headache, try the herbal brew,
For fever, pepper will see you through;
Add cardamom, don’t forget —
All your troubles, tea will set.

Daughter’s wedding? Bring out tea!
With samosas for company.
Win your guests, and hearts will tie,
One sip, and bonds multiply.

Before a meal — a sip of chai,
After too — don’t ask why;
Before you sleep, one last try,
Let dreams come sweetly, kissed by chai.
