हंटर विमान के संग जिन्होंने करतब अनेकानेक करे
दुश्मन के जेट को दहकाया खुद आग की लपटों में लिपटा
जां पे बनी थी जांबाज़ निज कर्त्तव्य से न टलास्क्वाड्रन लीडर मंगत सिंह की हिम्मत को हम याद करें
सूझबूझ से अपनी जिसने दुश्मन के हौसले पस्त किये
कैनबेरा पर हो सवार दुश्मन के घर को कूच किया
लगा निशाना बम फ़ेंक फिर एयरफील्ड को ध्वस्त कियावायुसेना और भारत को इन वीरों पर अभिमान है

He broke the enemy’s courage with skill like a psalm.
On Canberra he struck, their stronghold he did rend,
Aimed and released the bomb — the airfield’s strength did end.Pride of the Air Force, pride of India they remain,
Their bravery and gallantry — the nation’s enduring gain.
